Quazar Quad Partition Rate Memories are designed for high-speed, low-latency applications requiring sizable random access memory. This advanced technology can replace 4 to 8 traditional QDR devices, offering a substantial increase in onboard FPGA memory capacity while reducing board complexity and costs. With a bandwidth potential of up to 640 Gbps and support for dual port memory, these memories effectively surpass the capabilities of typical QDR options in terms of power and performance.
The Quazar QPR memories utilize up to 16 serial SERDES connections and are ideal for applications involving oversubscription buffers and table lookups. They are well-suited for use in line cards and switches, providing a versatile memory solution for high-performance networking equipment. These devices feature capacities of 576Mb to 1Gb, ensuring they meet a range of different application needs while maintaining a streamlined and efficient design.
Additionally, the Quazar QPR memories are configured to operate in two modes: DEEP and WIDE, with varying word widths and performance options. The DEEP mode enables memory access as 4 independent SRAM partitions, while the WIDE mode allows operation as 8 independent SRAMs, thereby maximizing bandwidth and flexibility in data-intensive applications.
