Overview:
RGB-IR features in ISP enable the capture and processing of Red, Green, Blue, and Infrared (IR) light data in an Image Signal Processing (ISP) system. This functionality enhances image quality by extracting additional information not visible to the human eye in standard RGB images. By integrating IR and RGB data into the demosaic processing pipeline, the ISP can enhance scene analysis, object detection, and image clarity in applications such as surveillance, automotive, and security systems.
