The AFX010x Product Family represents SCALINX's state-of-the-art analog front-end products, specifically designed to cater to applications demanding high performance, low energy consumption, and superior signal integrity. These AFEs feature four highly integrated channels, each equipped with a programmable input capacitor, programmable gain amplifier (PGA), offset DAC, ADC, and digital processor.
These products are embedded in a compact 12 mm x 12 mm, 196-Ball BGA package, ensuring significant reductions in PCB footprint and power consumption, compared to traditional solutions. The on-chip clock synthesizer and voltage reference simplify design complexities, allowing for seamless integration. Sampling rates reach up to 5 GS/s, with digitally selectable bandwidth extending from 20 MHz to 300 MHz.
These AFEs are particularly well-suited for high-resolution data acquisition cards, PC-based and handheld oscilloscopes, among other industrial applications. They provide flexible power modes and pin-to-pin compatibility, enabling easy adaptation across different systems without necessitating changes in hardware.
